USPS ANNOUNCES 2010 NEW SHIPPING SERVICES PRICES

Today the Postal Service announced the 2010 Shipping Services prices which take effect January 4, 2010.

 On May 11, 2009, preparation standards for folded self mailers mailed at the regular First Class Mail rate were revised. The automation-based requirements for sealing of self mailers now apply to folded flyers sent at NON-automation postage rates. In others words any folded flyers must be tabbed in order to be mailed. If not tabbed you will pay the higher NON-Machinable postage rate (add a minimum of $.20 per piece). A single sheet of printer/copy paper folded in half is not machinable, it must be trifolded.
